Wonderful Results Reflect Students' Resilience and Dedication
Congratulations to the Class of 2021 for an outstanding academic year. Their hard work, dedication and resilience during a challenging school year has been admirable and we could not be prouder.
Our students have produced incredible VCE results despite extended periods of remote learning.
The results below reflect not only the students’ ability to prevail during a challenging year but also our teacher's dedication in ensuring students didn’t miss a beat when moving to online learning.
- Over 55% of students ranked in the top 30% (an increase of 2.7% on 2020).
- Over a 1/3 of students achieved an ATAR = 80+ (an increase of 8.1% on 2020).
- Over 13% of students achieved an ATAR of 90 and above.
- The school also achieved a VCE median study score of 31, which is another improvement compared to the 2020 median score of 30.
The Dux of Casey Grammar School, Alexia Gherghiceanu, achieved an outstanding ATAR of 97.55 and was also a recipient of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Future Innovators Award this year. Alexia plans to study a double degree in Nursing and Midwifery prior to undertaking a post-graduate Bachelor of Medicine and would currently like to speicalise in either obstetrics or paediatrics.
School Captain Alastair McKearney received Proxime Accessit after achieving a score of 97.00. Alastair plans to study a double degree in Science and Biomedicine.
Juna Gemmell received a perfect score of 50 in Outdoor and Environmental Studies.
