Enjoying the Last Few Weeks of the School Year
Congratulations to the following classes for their wonderful presentation assemblies that have taken place in recent weeks.
5B – Our 5B students amazed us with their animal creations and their adaptations to survive living in imaginary worlds. Dancing Through the Ages finale was nothing short of sensational. Bravo Ms Burns and your wonderful students.
3H – Miss Sutherland’s first CGS assembly was fabulous. Her students told the story of Alice in Wonderland while exploring the values of inclusion and friendship. Congratulations to 3H and Miss Sutherland.
1M – In another first assembly for Mrs Murray, her students shone on the big stage. They journeyed through the months of the year while reflecting on all our wonderful CGS events. Well doner to 1M and Mrs Murray!
5S – Mrs Black’s students certainly did her proud when they concluded our class assemblies for 2025 with a terrific Christmas Presentation. They celebrated Christmas through the magic of their favourite films. It was a joy to watch and I was very proud of 5S and Mrs Black.
Thanks to Mr Batey, Ms Roffey and our wonderful Year 3-6 staff for ensuring our recent Swimming Carnival was a huge success. Congrats to Reid for taking home the Cup.
Our Summer Concert was another highlight of Term 4. Thanks to Mrs Kyne, our Performing Arts staff and our talented students.
We are looking forward to concluding our year with our Christmas Chapel, our Year 6 Graduation, our Awards Celebration and our highly anticipated Teachers’ Assembly.
Hoping everyone enjoys the break and is able to spend quality time with treasured family and friends over the Christmas season.
I look forward to welcoming our 525 Junior School students and their families back to CGS in 2025.
