2025 Senior School Production

The Performing Arts Faculty has been buzzing with activity over the last two weeks as we begin auditioning for the 2025 Casey Grammar School Production of The Addams Family. 

We have seen some very excited students, excellent preparation and very fine character interpretations come past the casting desks. At the time of publication, we will be finalising the principal lead roles and preparing for our preliminary meetings for cast, crew and orchestra, and first rehearsals before the break.

In the lead up to the end of year, the following rehearsals will occur:

Thursday, 21 November – cast and technical crew meeting 3:30pm–4:30pm PA2

Monday, 25 November – first rehearsal for principal leads and technical crew 3:30pm–5:30pm PA2, meeting for orchestra 3:30pm–5:00pm PA3

Thursday, 28 November – first rehearsal for all cast 3:30pm–5:30pm PAC Stage

Thursday, 5 December – first rehearsal for orchestra 3:30pm–5:00pm PA3

Monday, 9 December – rehearsal for cast and technical crew 3:30pm–5:30pm PAC Stage, rehearsal for orchestra 3:30pm–5:00pm PA3

Year 10 Drama Production

The Year 10 Production of Maid to Order was performed by the Year 10 Drama class this week. The performance is part of a major assessment task in Year 10 Drama. 

The class worked on all aspects of bringing their performance to life, from designing and sourcing costumes, sets, props and sound to directing and performing in a quick paced comedy farce. The show was very funny, and the students worked as a team to bring their vision to life.
