What a whirlwind of activity we've had in Junior School over the past few weeks! We've enjoyed swimming, Hoop Time, and various incursions.
Students have had so many opportunities to showcase their skills and we couldn't be more proud of their efforts.
House Talent Show
This week Casey Grammar School hosted the inaugural House Talent Show with all students from Foundation to Year 6 in attendance. It was a tremendous success for all involved. The event consisted of three categories including Instrumental, Vocal and Dance. The performers showcased their talents in a variety of different styles and costumes.
Our Performing Arts Captains, Meth and Jayda, did a fabulous job compering the show and our performers certainly captivated the audience. It was a very difficult job for the judges, so much so that we ended with both Leaver and Reid sharing first place. The winners for each category were:
Instrumental – Dulain J, Year 4, Leaver
Vocal – Mia P, Year 4, Reid
Dance – Alexandra H, Year 4, Reid. Isabella H, Year 4, Reid
Bronwyn Kyne
Head of Leaver House – Junior School

Hoop Time Regionals
On the 13th November, the Year 3-4 All Stars girls basketball team travelled to the State Basketball Centre in Wantirna after winning the Hoop Time competition at Casey Stadium in Term 3. The competition was tough, with the girls winning their first match with a ‘buzzer beater’ from Sahansa, before going down in their final three matches. They played extremely well as a team and we are all proud of how far they progressed. The team consisted of:
Stella A – Year 3
Charlotte D – Year 3
Olivia B – Year 3
Cleo B – Year 3
Tia L – Year 4
Ruby C – Year 4
Sahansa D – Year 4
Mia P – Year 4
Thank you to Ms Parnall for coaching the girls on the day and throughout the journey, and to all the parents who attended to show their support.
