We are very excited with this year’s production to be able to train our technical crew alongside our actors. These dedicated students have spent rehearsal times learning about how a theatre operates and about how important the tech team is in creating the magic of theatre (both figuratively and literally for this show!).
Our team is now hands-on developing stage plans and lighting plots. They are curating sound effects and a sound track in preparation for the show, and are rehearsing for their very important roles off the stage.
The performance dates are 16, 17 & 18 May.

SIS Big Night Concert
On Tuesday 19 March, 32 students represented Casey Grammar School at the annual Southern Independent Schools ‘Big Night’ concert, held at Drum Theatre in Dandenong.
In addition to our senior choir’s performance, musicians, singers, and dancers joined with students from the other schools to perform in combined ensembles and groups.
It was wonderful to see the joy on students’ faces as they shared their love for the performing arts with the enthusiastic ‘sell-out’ crowd.
Congratulations to the Performing Arts Department for their work with all the students in rehearsals and preparation, and to our very own Head of Performing Arts, Mr Stuart Collidge who conducted the final combined concert band with expertise.
