Staff Spotlight

At Casey Grammar we are very proud of all staff and their achievements. Throughout the year, we will highlight a different staff member within each newsletter to introduce you to some members you perhaps haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet. This week, we had a chat with Diana Bright.

Name: Diana Bright

Position: Mathematics Teacher

Qualifications: Bachelor of Education

  • When did you join Casey Grammar? I came to CGS in 2022 after teaching at St Margarets School for the previous 19 years.
  • What do you love most about your job and why? Being in the classroom, teaching students a subject that I am passionate about and sharing those light bulb moments when students fully understand concepts that can be challenging.
  • Three words which best describe you are … Mum, Honest, Competitive
  • What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know? I love to travel, take photos and then scrapbook my photos.
  • What’s one thing on your bucket list? The pyramids in Egypt
  • In one sentence, tell us what your included photo is about: This photo is from 2021, when together with my husband we were fortunate enough to escape covid in Victoria and complete a half lap around Australia. This photo is taken at Mitchell Falls in the Kimberley in NT. It is one of the most remote locations and is simply stunning to see.
