Year 5 & 6 Ensemble Program

Our Years 5 and 6 Instrumental Ensemble Program is up and running for Semester Two with 25 students enrolled. Our wonderful team of Instrumental teachers first introduced the students to the different orchestral instruments and now the students have begun tuition on their chosen instrument.

They are all very excited to take home their instruments and to practice ready for their first orchestral performance at our Summer Concert in Term 4.

Six the Musical

On Tuesday, 2 August, Years 10 - 12 in Drama, Theatre Studies and Music enjoyed a night out to see Six the Musical at the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne.

Six tells the story of the six wives of Henry VIII with a modern, pop-music spin, turning the wives into a girl group, similar to the Spice Girls. Students are studying the musical in preparation for assessment in class.

The students loved the performance, with many planning to go again. The soundtrack was played on repeat on the way home!
