The partnership between families and school is paramount in supporting the education and wellbeing of our students. Our shared values promote mutual trust and respect and provide an environment where each child is properly known and recognised.
In Senior School, students are assigned to one of four Houses. In Year 7, students meet in House groups each morning with their Wellbeing Mentor. This year’s mentors were introduced at the recent Year 7 online Welcome Evening. These mentors, along with the Head of Year 7, Mr Ben Peake, are responsible for the holistic wellbeing of each student and for nurturing their academic, social, emotional and spiritual development.
As students transition from Year 7 into Year 8, they join a Wellbeing Group that comprises students in their House from Years 8 to 12. The Head of House oversees all students and, along with the Wellbeing Mentor, is generally the first point of contact for parents.
To get in touch with your child’s Head of House, please send a message via Seqta to:

Alastair, our School Proxime Accessit, has been offered a place at Monash University for a double degree in Science and Biomedicine and he hopes to practise medicine in the future. Alastair is taking a gap year away from his studies and wants to work and earn enough money to travel overseas.
Alexia and Alastair offered words of advice to our students and showed gratitude for the efforts of their teachers. We are incredibly proud of their success and look forward to hearing about their journey in the years to come.
Year 8 Camp
Year 8 Students have shared some highlights from their recent four-day camp at Apollo Bay.
"The highlight of my camp experience was surfing and mountain biking because I had never done it before and it was super fun to learn how to surf and ride a mountain bike." Tilli B
"My highlight of camp was most definitely surfing. It was the first time I had ever done it and I was really good at it. I was standing up on most waves and it felt amazing." Kian M
"Getting to spend time with friends outside of the classroom was awesome and the activities on camp were really fun." Bella E
"When I stood up on my surfboard on the second wave I caught." Mia B
"My highlight for the camp was probably the campfire on the first night where we roasted our marshmallows and listened to music. I thought that was fun." Tanisha T
"Surfing was the highlight, as I could never stand up on a board and suddenly I could do it consistently." Paul G
"Going surfing and being able to experience things that we wouldn’t necessarily do on a daily basis was amazing—and making more friends." Jemma M
"To be honest the thing that will stick with me the most from camp will be the conversations we had when we were all just standing around and talking to each other. Maybe we were playing a ball game or having a meal but the times when we just chatted to one another will always stick with me because our relationships were strengthened and we got to hang out with people we wouldn’t usually choose."
